Weight classes that have been around for more than 20 years, such as Heavyweight, remain fairly consistent in terms of typical reach and height. Other weight classes, such as lightweight, have fighters that are taller and with longer reach in more recent years. This could be due to having more weight classes (allowing smaller fighters to fight at Featherweight or Bantamweight instead, for instance) and perhaps more aggressive or sophisticated weight-cutting.
